Join us May 22nd for a Virtual Highland Tea!

The Rocky Mountain Highland Dancers are excited to be hosting a virtual Highland Tea. We invite you to join us for some of our classic Highland Tea events with a virtual twist! Expect an afternoon of history, live dancing and even a cooking tutorial with Meg Stern of Basset Bakes.

Make it an event! Dress up, get out the “fancy” tea set and arrange some tasty treats or bake your own wee fancies!

Let's keep this initiative going and keep "Flinging Together”!

Fling Together 2020 is now the Fling Together Collective! Despite the hardships of 2020, our community innovated and found brand new ways to connect and celebrate our shared passion. In 2021, Fling Together’s goal is to foster the continued growth of these new found connections and provide a platform to highlight and celebrate the many voices of highland dance around the globe. Cheers to a new year and a new #flingtogether

Join the Challenge! The Fling Together Practice Challenge.

Learn tips from elite level dancers and track your practices for a chance to win some cool prizes. Keep an eye on our Facebook, YouTube, and Instagram videos and for prize announcements. The challenge is open to all highland dancers worldwide. Go to our Fling Together page for full details.

Add your event and join others in
our new “In the Community” section!

One of Fling Together Collective's goals is to highlight events and activities happening in our global community.

Are you holding a virtual workshop or having a virtual performance (or maybe even an in person performance)? Perhaps you have a dance related initiative you'd like to promote?

Let us know! We would love to feature it on our website and social channels.

“CEUD MILE FAILTE” – 100,000 Welcomes!

We’re an organization dedicated to the preservation and expression of Scottish history and culture through dance. The Rocky Mountain Highland Dancers (RMHD) perform throughout the Rocky Mountain Region, often accompanied by a live piper or an entire pipe band. Most of our dance members compete and you’ll find them winning at competitions around the nation and the world. RMHD’s mission is to serve the best interests of the dancers and the highland dance community while promoting highland dancing and keeping it alive in Colorado. It has been over 30 years since RMHD became an organization and we are still going strong.
