Looking to bring some cultural flair to your next event?

Watch the swirl of kilts as the Rocky Mountain Highland Dancers perform to the music of the bagpipe.

The Rocky Mountain Highland Dancers is a non-profit organization dedicated to creating and encouraging the expression of the ethnic history and dances of Scotland through performances, workshops and competitions. RMHD supports dancers as they learn the discipline of dancing, and a love of cultural arts and live performance.

Scottish Highland Dancing has existed for hundreds of years and in the latter half of the 1900’s became a competitive sport for children starting from the age of four into adulthood. From the Highland Fling and Sword Dance, to the Scottish Lilt and Sailor’s Hornpipe, the intricate steps of Scottish Highland Dancing require strength, precision and grace.

To book a performance, send an email to dances@rmhd.org or contact our Dance Coordinator.

Performances are typically done to recorded music unless a live piper is specifically requested (additional cost). Our standard rate for performances is $250 which includes 30 minutes of performance time and a minimum of 5 dancers. Special rates are available for non-profit organizations.
